Our Travel Approval (TA) arrived last week! This week we should find out our travel dates. Our agency is working to get our appointments set up for October. Because of the Trade Fair, it is a bit more complicated to set up travel during the month of October so as to schedule around government holidays, higher hotel rates, etc. But regardless, we're fairly certain we'll be travelling in less than 6 weeks! And most likely, we'll be meeting our son before he turns 2-years-old!
We are excited and anxious! Right now we are most concerned with how to keep our very energetic 3-year-old occupied for a 16-hour flight to China! If you've got any suggestions, we're all ears. We've got about 8 hours (of battery life) figured out, so at least half the trip is covered. Maybe she'll sleep some of the flight? Her? Nah. Not likely.

Congratulations! As for the flight... yeah... no suggestions, though I wish I had some. That is one LONG flight.
